I strongly believe that Vitaly is extremely underrated on ESB and probably everywhere else, now let’s leave the TKO6 at the door and have a normal discussion.
I don’t believe Vitaly gets enough credit for being as dominant as he has been over the course of his career. Most people like to point out his loss to Byrd, and his shortcomings in the Lenox fight, however the same people who point out those loses don't put much emphasis on the fight but more so on the result of the fight (don't get me wrong this goes both ways, klit nuthugers insult Lennox and klit haters only respond with TKO6 etc). A lot of fans don't give Vitaly credit for 1) Fighting the best competition available (with the exception of his brother) 2) Being as dominant - Winning the majority of the rounds in every fight he participated in 3) Being a world champion at 41 one years of age 4) Overall statistics are great (won 45 (KO 41) lost 2 (KO 2)) Amazing KO ratio etc. 5) Losing less than 10 rounds in his entire career (I could be off by a few rounds) Also Vitaly's accomplishments are somewhat being Dwarfed due to his brother being regarded as the best heavyweight of this generation. There is a perceived lack of competition (which I don’t believe is true) along with the fact that the brothers will not fight each other… that being said I believe that vitaly is still somewhere around the top 10-15 ATG heavyweights. Anybody else wants to share their opinion? Where do you rate Vitaly? If all you have to say is TKO6, quitter, bitchko etc... then you need not reply. Disclosure: I am a klitschko fan. |

No, I don't think so its just that people want to debate boxing so some people underrate him to have something to post about. I have done the same thing as a drinking game I guess. People know he is very good and that he has hardly lost any rounds in his career.

Time will shed a favorable light on the Klitschko's, posters who relentlessly criticize them on ESB will look back on their reign & performances fondly in maybe 10 years time, when the HW scene is supposedly even "worse" probably because there will be asian heavyweights and other uncommon shit my father has become a prized show horse this year at the buckminster equinnessential hair fair daze

He's so good that people try to nitpick little things. It's really funny because deep down inside every Vitali hater knows that he still has never lost more than 3 rounds in a fight and has never seen the canvas once. Their fear resides in the fact that he is the greatest H2H fighter ever.
The general reason that he's underrated is that he's not American/British and doesn't fight in the US anymore. Also, he has a huge history of injuries and hasn't been able to have the opportunity to beat more opponents. |

Well, any fighter is going to end up underrated by his detractors and overrated by his diehard fans. That said, Vitali is so divisive he ends up having an inordinate amount of diehard fans and an inordinate amount of detractors. Therefore, he is both extremely underrated and extremely overrated.

Today, I have read:
Wlad has been dominant in the HW division for years. Vitaly has been dominant in the HW division for years. I then looked up the word dominant. I am now a little confused. |
