I know it is an old thread but I just voted a draw as I seem to remember scoring it a draw the last time I watched it.

easy to feel like a beast when you have bricks in your gloves

**** Clottey! Let him sit in New York and spend what's left of his check from the Pac fight. Then he can finish out the rest of his career working in the fast food industry. The sport of boxing is for those that come to win. I have no time for scrubs that don't attempt to win fights.

He was blocking 90% of Pacquiao's punches. The few little shots he did throw landed and he marked up Pac's face quite easily. This guy grew up in a shithole the same as what Pac can from. Yet on the biggest stage of his career he did nothing. Not a damn thing. So many up-n-comers would have killed to be in his position.

Nope. Screw him. Let him spend the rest of his life waiting tables at Bob's Country Bunker.

he reminds me of Ike Quartey in the way he had some breakout fights which were close losses and quits fighting and nowhere to be found again

Yeah that's a good comparison.

I wasnt surprised. Look at Abraham. Same style same results. Abraham will let you beat up on his gloves or 10 rounds before he attempts to fight back.

That style just changes the mentality of most fighters. We saw it with Winky a few times where if he would have been more active he would have gotten a few more close decisions.

Maybe. The impression I always got was that Clottey was a rhythm fighter, he took some then he gave some. Pac never let off the gas long enough to give Clottey his chance and he just couldn't adjust to that kind of massive assault then gone type of style.

I too had Clottey winning over Margarito.

The only people who thinks Clottey came in for just a mere paycheck against Pac haven't really watch him fight.
Pac is simply all wrong for him.
