Default Re: Golovkin Vs. Molina?

Rafael said in his article that Rubio turned down the fight. Must be due to weight, Rubio's last fight was in the Super Middleweight division. I doubt Rubio would turn down a world title fight to "avoid" Golovkin, he's a warrior.

Shame, would have been a good fight that. Rubio has fought Pavlik and Chavez Jr, so it would have been a good comparison fight for Golovkin.

Molina was 170 pounds pounds on fight night against Kirkland. Obviously he doesn't have the body of a middleweight, but he's way past welterweight now. 170 is big even for jr middleweight.

Yes. He's a big guy. Probably naturally bigger than GGG, and has lately been acting and talking like he's "all that".

Let's see if he's ready to back all that up.

If Haymon is involved in this though, I'm guessing that Guerrero is going to land it.

I see B#####Scene is saying that its between Rosado and Guerrero at the moment and that Rosado is the lead candidate. I like that with all the opponents that have popped in and out of consideration HBO has stuck with keeping Golovkin on that date.
