thought Froch won by 1-2 rounds, and am surprised Dirrell did not get anymore points deducted.
Dirrel looked like he just did not want to be there for most of the fight. |

I remember being shocked by a "split decision" call prior to the scores, then even more shocked when I heard Froch had one.
Even the Primetime commentary team had Dirrell winning Dirrell would let his hands go more in a rematch and win convincingly second time around. |

Watching it live in the arena had Froch comfortably ahead (although it was on very late and the fight was very dull so I really couldn't be arsed to score).
Watching back in the midst of insomnia I had Froch winning still. Hard one to score due to such little action but Dirrell was so negative positively scoring rounds for him was tough, not that I tried TBH |

![]() Some of you minions need to wake up and smell the dandelion and burdock. Froch lost that fight and you know it. He barely landed any punches on Dirrell, whereas Dirrell landed flush on Froch on several occasions.I was rooting for Froch, but I am honest and know how score a fight. Some people need to wipe that fart sauce from their eyes and try to see the woods for the trees. ![]()

I had Dirrell winning it by two rounds, although a lot of the rounds were hard to score. Dirrell did spoil a lot, but when he let his hands go he did land the more eye catching shots, some of which seemed to sting Froch a bit.
Carl's main problem was that he couldn't adapt during the fight, he seemed to swiping at thin air all night. |

Scored it for Froch on the night but with hindsight I was clearly biased. Dirrells holding and running pissed me off no end and he was very lucky not to get dq'd.
So Dirrell was ahead imo but I'm glad he didn't get the verdict. |
