I think Ruddock would eventually get stopped. Ruddock became a back pedaling counterpuncher, but I think Tua at his best finds the opening and stops Ruddock late. Razor would open up and take chances, and I think thats when Tua catches him with a big lefthook and knocks him out. You cant hook with a hooker and I think Tua's chin takes Razor's hook and the Tua counter is what hurts Razor badly and leads to the stoppage.

Tua was kind of difficult to hit cleanly at his best, and Ruddock like against Tyson would be leaning down to throw his left which would create those openings for Tua to counter. Tua could counter pretty well with his lefthook and you saw Tyson do it and Tommy Morrison do it fairly easily and hurt Ruddock, so I think Tua would be able to land cleanly at some point and do some serious damage to Ruddock.

I think Ruddock would be in with a good chance in this one.He has the height, reach and power to keep Tua at distance. If he could keep it up and tie Tua up when he did get close I think he could out point him.

I'll go with Ruddock, whom I am not a real big fan of. Tua is grossly overrated.
Tua's biggest 2 wins were a 1st destruction of a unsuspecting John Ruiz and a late round TKO of Hasim Rahman (in which he had hit and hurt Rahman after the bell the previous round.) That's it! |

Rudduck at his best, I think he may have the power to keep Tua in his shell, like he went into against Lennox. Either way his boxing skills should see him outbox Tua but as an offensive force Tua has only faced Lewis who is better and Lewis was happy to box conservatively
Ofcourse Tua can KO Rudduck, but I think Rudduck can score the KO himself. We shouldn't judge Rudduck by the past prime display against Morrison |
