Best infighting southpaws in boxing history? (besides pacman)

Most of the best southpaws have average to long reach.

Pacman is the only successful infighting short reached southpaw that I know of.

Do you know of any in fighting southpaws? Why are they so rare?

Manny is a bad infighter, he doesn't fight well at close range chest to chest. He folds up or holds awkwardly and doesn't try to use his shoulders for leverage and throw short combinations from a crouch like a conventional swarmer does.

Hagler is probably the best Southpaw infighter. Whitaker was very competent as well.

By infighter I mean guys that have so little reach they have to get inside to fight.

There dosnt seem to be many versions of Tyson, Smokin Joe, or Ricky hatton that are southpaw!

Pacquiao and Tyson are/were predominantly mid-range fighters.

Whitaker is the best southpaw I've seen on the inside.

Whitaker and Hagler, Pacquaio's infighting can see him outdone, he doesn't get leverage at that range

Pacquiao's a pretty poor infighter, actually. I'd go with Whitaker and Hagler, who, incidentally, are the two best, period. Hagler had very long arms, though, so Whitaker would be the best choice.

Andy Ganigan. I think you'll find that most southpaws are more effective either from a distance (where they can create angles and shoot that left hand) or on the way in. Most good southpaws are counterpunchers. I belive it was jake Lamotta that said he liked to fight lefties up close because that took away their angles.

Tyson was a bad infighter, he was a mid range fighter.
