Agreed. 175 is historically rich.

Here's a question, though. What if instead of going down to face Tarver at 75, Roy cashes out in a KO loss against Lewis and bows out of boxing.

How would this impact his legacy at 175? Rightly or wrongly, I think this hugely influences the perception of Roy Jones. I really do. And even though I think his victory over Tarver is arguably his most impressive performance, I think his 175 standing would be HIGHER had he retired on the aforementioned note, even though he would not have regained the 175 pound strap before losing the rematch to Tarver which started his mental down slide.

Have loved Jones' commentating of late, and I think he's improved a great deal in recent years.

While I will miss Emanuel dearly, and while I've always missed Big George since he left, Roy knows his shit! He is good at what he does, and quick to pick up on little things.

i was amazed a few weeks ago...he was commenting on the very technical aspects in the donaire/nishioka fight and predicting them seconds before they occured. i love how he's able to break down the subtlties of fights and pinpoint techniques that he NEVER used himself

Ali gets almost 8x the votes as his main rival, Joe Frazier.

If Jones would have been blown out by Lewis, would he have been blighted as Spinks was after loss to Tyson?
