The California prison system hasn't allowed weight lifting since 2000. A lot of the serious fed penitentiaries don't allow it either. The guys I grew up with used to come back from the pen huge, until 2000. Then they just came back very strong and very fit.
What kind of shape would you get into if (1) you'd get victimized if you were weak (2) you had nothing else to do but workout all day.

Certainly these guys may be all in the same prison: we could study their tattoos and figure out exactly where they are from. The whole point of what i am getting at is this...When you have nothing else to do all day, you work lout a lot. When that is your consuming activity, you study up on it and get good at it.
