Yafai Vs Hall is fine. No problem stepping up lighter weight guys like this, no one reason if he's that good that he can't fight the 2-4 ranked British bantams now.
Also didn't realise Bellew was in with an Argue Hope he turns out a proper Argie import and makes it interesting

Yafai's situation is something which I think Joshua should take heed of. Kal had been fighting the top amateurs for a long time before he turned over and it tells, he's a class above all these journeyman and isn't even getting rounds from them. He is at Commonwealth/British level already in truth.
I think if Joshua stayed AM til Rio, he'd be similar if not better. His raw talent would be best nurtured against top amateurs for a few years IMO rather than turning pro and having a couple of years fighting nobodies. There's no need to rush. (I realise that I've gone off on a tangent haha) |
