he doesn't do any thing outstanding, and his hand speed is very poor, he throws wide looping shots which are easy to avoid, i don't think he would beat cleverly in a rematch

He had a huge cut over his eye and people expect him to do anything other than cautiously box his way to a UD? Ridiculous.
Winning is far more important than looking good. Bellew is smart enough to realise this and he's also good enough to adapt in tough situations. |

honestly this is absolute garbage, he was winging away at the argie for the first 3 rounds and missing badly, he was taking wide swings and was looking fucking amateurish. he talked a big game and failed to deliver as usual. grachev would give him fits never mind dawson, pascal or the rest of them.

travoris cloud would mutilate him, campillo beat cloud on handspeed and movement, bellew would get pinned down and shot down. the fight would end in early devastating knockout,

Comments a bit negative for me.Bellews an exciting fighter[and a Brit]and adapted because of the cut.For me,Bolonti took some really hard punches and Argentinians are not noted for having china chins, either. On you tube he looked a good attacking fighter which was negated by Tony. Then he showed good defensive skills. No bum IMO.The cut is worrying but like to see him win the euro title next year, which IMO a cert, then I think he can at least be competitive at world level. For me,he shaded Nathan.

Tony's a much better fighter when he takes his time and picks his punches, as for being boring? He was throwing punches like a madman in the opening 3 rounds giving the Argie hell but leaving himself open, hence the cut.
He adapted very well and fought smartly there after, he boxed like he should of done from the start, he is a good boxer/puncher when he shows composure. |

Fuck it, I like him, he was crazy entertaining until the cut. Whatever he does is going to be fun. Perhaps he doesn't have the tools to beat the very best, but you know he would give it everything he has and make it entertaining against any of them.
