Basically Bolanti was better defensively then he was offensively. Bellew was on front foot, floored Bolanti in 1st and 3rd IIRC. Not heavy but good shots but they never hurt him badly. Bellew had Bolanti in corner in 3rd or 4th and was countered with a short left hook which opened up a horrendus cut. Bellew then reverted back to boxing off the jab without being overly aggressive, taking the rounds at minimal risk just jabbing and dropping right hands in behind and left hooks to body every now and them and winning easily on points. Bolanti put up no attacking threat and it was just a case of seeing the job out and protecting a terrible cut. |
