Default Remember last year when Burns fought Katsidis...

And Burns, Nelson and VVarren all said something along the lines of "Why would he/I duck Broner to step up in weight and take a harder fight" (Katsidis, who was shot)

Looks pretty daft that statement now tbh, I like Burns but no way in this universe does he stand any sort of chance against Broner.

Burns, Nelson and VVarren will duck him again.

Katsidis is better than Demarco.

Demarco became 'the man' at LW by default. Let's see Broner beat or even fight someone that is not tailor made for him. Abril would give him a real challenge.

Three weeks ago,Vasquez was the main man at lightweight, yet an average performance means he was never in the mix?
DeMarco had all the head movement of a lampost last night and now Broner's the new P4P king?
Hold the front page! Boxing fans in fickle shocker!

I'm not saying Ricky beats Broner, but he'd fight a completely different fight to DeMarco,so to assume that last night has any bearing on what we already knew is misguided at best.

In that case you need to dump Fisheyes immediately because he's clearly holding burns career back. Either dump Fisheyes or your going nowhere and doing nothing

No. Not that version of Katsidis who was essentially ruined by Marquez and Guerrero.

Maybe so. But his win over Linares is better then anything Katsidis or even Burns has achieved to date.

Yet Burns beats Kevin Mitchell and suddenly he's the real deal and broner was a hype job

and yes, many on here were calling Broner a hype job.

The Brit forum takes peoples personalities into account too much, classy guys like Burns and Price get overrated because people like them

pick with your head, not your heart, it's clear as day Broner is on another level to Burns, and it will be a straightforward victory for Broner if the fight happens

I think you lump too many people in with the post Mitchell reaction Earl.I've been following Ricky and saying so on here long before that fight.
I've also said that I'm not picking Ricky to win and I've never called Broner a hype job.
I am saying that he'd bring a completely different and probably more effective gameplan than DeMarco.

sorry it just seemed at the time like that at the time

It'd be a different sort of fight, but i would be stunned if Burns did anything better than win a couple of rounds and go the 12

I think Broner looked very comfortable at the weight, but I suspect given Ricky isn't a money fight over there,he'll be looking to 140 in the near future.

Then I can say he's ducking Ricky!

I've also got a feeling the fight won't happen.

Frwank will do what he can to prevent it, and there is better money options at 140 for Broner.
