Cleverly has stamina, workrate and a chin. Ward would not want to go near that guy. Remember Ward didnt want to fight Bute when Bute looked the business
Well said brother.

Especially if it involves stepping foot out of jokeland

Beating undefeated bum is better than beating champion with defeat it seems

Cleverly beat undefeated Murat, who had beaten former champ Campillo, who many felt was unlucky against Cloud. Cleverly took that 0 there.
Cleverly also beat undefeated Bellew, now the WBC LHW silver champ, who beat Miranda who many claim had worked Dawson over before his fight with Ward. That was another 0 that Nathan took. Both current top 10 LHWs.
Tell me which 0s did Ward take off top undefeated fighters?

To defeat an undefeated nobody is better than beating a top level fighter with a previous loss, is that what you're selling?

Mayweather, Hearns , Lewis, Cotto, Pacquiao never beat any top level undefeated fighters. Does that make them lesser champions?
Ross Purity took the "o" from Wladimir Klitschko, does that make him an all time great HW?
Hopkins zero was taken from him in his very first fight.
Your argument is a gimmick. You dont know where you are.

When did I say that? What did I make up? Ward's team refused a catchweight, and refused to move up, hence they drained Dawson down to 168 - it is what it is. Now I'm just asking, would Ward step up to 175 to face Clev? Because he wouldn't do that to face Dawson

Mayweather - Beat undefeated Diego Coralles

Hearns - Beat undefeated Virgil Hill

Lennox Lewis - beat highly rated and undefeated Michael Grant

Pacquiao - got robbed against Bradley

Cotto - beat undefeated Malignaggi, Foreman and Quintana - all have been champs

Dawson said on live tv he could make the weight. Ward didn't make Dawson do anything. He accepted the challenge put to him, end of story.
Ward has no reason to fear Clev. Clev might beat Dawson, Ward is a different level.
