Froch verbally attacks Khan again....

Did anyone see Froch's indirect dig at Khan...

I'm no big fan of Amir Khan but i don't get the hate Froch has for the guy. When he says things like this he comes across as very jealous and bitter:

"I don't get spectacularly knocked out like some other British fighters who think they are superstars."

The other month Khan did a interview and he was asked about Brook then Froch and had another dig at Froch.

Goes back and forth. Sillyness..

Personally think he's got a cunt of a persona, but that's just the way he is and it clearly lies with Froch who always seems to starts the little digs.

My respect for Froch has just gone up a notch.

Now there is a fighter who has a solid mandible, unlike Khan's jellyfish, and he has some humility and respect for his opponents.

They're always sniping at one another. I think it's mostly because they both view themselves as Britain's top fighter but over a few other things as well.

It started because I think Froch was undeniably annoyed and bit jealous back before he was promoted by Eddie Hearn and before he was on Sky. He was with Hennessy and involved in top fight after top fight (Pascal, Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham) yet nobody but hardcore boxing fans knew who he was because he had no TV deal.

At the same time Khan was winning dud fights against the likes of Salita, Malignaggi and McCloskey yet everyone was raving about him on TV and in all the newspapers, boxing magazines etc. It's bound to wound Froch up.

Now the roles are reversed, everyone loves Froch and Khan is almost irrelevant.

I'm on Froch's side in this case, he's right when he says Khan made a right twat himself by banging about what a superstar he is before getting knocked flat on his arse by Garcia.

Where exactly was he 'banging about what a superstar' before getting beaten by Garcia? I've probably watched next to all the interviews he'd had and I don't recall him saying anything of the sort.

It's not as if Froch hasn't had a history of taking shots at others either. He's done it to countless amounts of fighters. Saying silly shit like he should retire and then saying that he would want no part of Kell Brook is just asking for a response, and as far as I remember, Amir still said nothing besides "Carl always has something to say", and again, today he takes another silly dig which has only made up for another dispute after they were both fine until Carl felt the need to comment on him, again.

Froch never said kahn should retire, he said if he had two losses like kahn he would retire

Here's the infamous "I'm a superstar" line. Khan just comes across an arrogant, deluded arsehole. Or at least he did, hopefully the beatdown Garcia gave him has mellowed him out a bit. Froch can be a bit childish with his digs I agree. But all the digs he's said about Khan are what quite lot of other boxing fans are thinking. He's just coming out and saying it.

Carl can say what he wants he earn't that right by becoming Britains no 1 fighter and proving it, Khan talks likes he's number 1 but in reality is nowhere near.

Khan should be quite, he has nothing to shout about.

What, he continuously called himself a superstar and after that? Even though I find it funny how some of you bring it up, seeing as so many journalists, pundits and so on seem to label him as such. I guess Carl calling himself a legend after his fights with Abraham and Ward was perfectly fine. (FYI, I have no problem with either Carl or Amir labelling themselves as such, I'm just making the comparison)

Didn't get anywhere up until a few year ago coz early on in his career he was an egotistical prick who who used to blow his own trumpet even though he hadn't achieved much, constantly called out a money fight with calzaghi win he had no right to share a ring with, smug, arrogant, I could go on, but give him his due he's lost all the above and turned the British boxing fans around, I think someone must have had a quiet word in his ear at some point,
