Of course skills are more important.

But saying physical attributes mean noithing is just plain stupid.

So if you take Jonathon Banks's skills and ability and put them into Seth Mitchells body, are you saying there would be NO difference in the fighter??

If Banks had Mitchells physical attributes, he'd have the same skill set but he'd hit harder and be more powerful in every aspect.

Likewise, you put Sergio Martinez in with a Marco Huck, it would probably be a short night for Martinez becaus ehe simply wouldnt be able to deal with the physical attributes of Huck even though hes far more skillful.

If physical attributes didnt mean anything,we wouldnt have weight divisions in boxing.

Its also no co-incidence that the heavyweight division has been dominated by guys over 6'5 and 240 for the past 20 years or so

I don't know why people are shitting on Seth Mitchell. He never proclaimed that he was going to come in and rule heavyweight boxing. He made the most of his limited experience, won some fights, and got knocked out by an experienced opponent.

Athleticism still plays a huge role. A lot of top boxers have been very explosive skilled athletes, but you still need the years of training to be elite.

some guys were desperate to have a boxing champ, and overhyping a man to elevate his rep without much proof he can make it out in the elite doesnt help. Feel sorry for seth
