Because they want to see the next fantasy Tyson KO Wlad and the other Euros that are dominating the HW div.

Tyson did have top skills when young, but even a young MT wouldn't be universal champ today - maybe holding one of the belts.
Tyson dominated a much stronger era of heavyweights. The Klits are top notch but its not a given they beat Tyson.

Meh, nothing is a "given".
See Tyson vs LL. Vitali - unless he sustained an injury - would abuse Tyson. Only chance Tyson would have vs Wlad would be to catch him early to mid rounds - most likely the younger, pre Manny Wlad.

To say that Tyson "dominated" a "much stronger" era is completely laughable
1st off he didn't dominate; 2nd it's your biased view that Tysons opponents were much stronger. Who, a past it Holmes? Spinks? Tyson couldn't handle Douglas when at his prime or small HW Holy

Wilder is a wanna-be Mike Grant, and Grant's chin got exposed by Golota the moment the first solid right landed.

WHy are non-Americans so obsessed with THINKING that American HW fans so obsessed with unskilled power punchers?

Almost no one here ever thought, or thinks now, that Mitchell could rise to the top. We just applaud his efforts, and the fact that he's done remarkably well (until yesterday) given his circumstances.

Wilder is a different matter. Many pros think he might be the next champ. (depending upon how good his still-unproved defense is.) If you claim he has no skills, then YDKSAB - and never has that initialism been more appropriate.
Despite his abysmal & sometimes literally embarrassing opposition, if you can't see Wilder's potential, you should find another forum. Perhaps a ladies' knitting forum?

So again, what is this fascination with Americans over-hyping their fighters? None do that better than the Brittards. Christ, take Tyson Fury for instance. He's the most over-hyped fighter on the planet right now.

Yet venture onto any boxing forum and all you ever see are thread titles like this:

"Is Seth Mitchell The Next Great Heavyweight?"
"How Good Is Deontay Wilder?"

Yet every time someone mentions Malik Scott on here, a fighter who skills-wise is light years ahead of these two bums, the idiots come out on here calling him boring and whining on about his lack of power. This sums up everything that is wrong with the American attitude to the HW division and why Europe is going to dominate the division for the next 20 years at least.

Watch some fights, use your brain and realise that a well-schooled boxer beats a crude ex-footballer every time.
Malik Scott?? Come on man, he's one of these guys who seems satisfied to toil in the minor leagues his entire career, without EVER stepping it up. He's an older version of Deontay Wilder, basically - a guy who makes a career out of fighting tomato cans and journeymen.

Jennings, on the other hand, actually has an upside. But Malik Scott? Puh-leez! He's another one of these guys who feasts on a diet of bums and then wonders why nobody takes him seriously!

Tyson's era was much stronger? First of all, how long was Tyson's era when he "dominated"? He dominated for a VERY short time and beat the likes of Trevor Berbick and a slew of crackheads/no hopers. His dominance stopped when he faced an elite fighter who stood up to him.
