i was actually expecting the usual "slick" supporters to complain about the scoring of this fight and how they thought moreno won. yeah moreno was slick but he fought lazy. how would you expect him to get the fight where the other fighter was working 400% harder than him. i haven't scored this fight round by round but moreno might have won 3 or 4 rounds for me at best.

Moreno probably needed one or two fights before facing Mares....just to get his body acclimated to the new weight.....it would have helped with his power and the ability to absorb Abners punches.....Moreno impressed me but he wasn't able to curb Mares pressure enough to fight his fight.

Moreno is a great body puncher.....Going to the body is a lost art for most fighters....but going to the body is not the only thing a fighter needs to beat Abner....it can help....but a string body attack is always great to implement.
