P4P lists for current fighters are tricky because you get stuck between what you think a guy is capable of and what he's actually done. If you want pure guesswork you're in extraordinarily subjective territory. If you only go by accomplishment, you get some pretty used up guys who simply haven't lost yet being ranked ahead of terrific young talent that can do more in all likelihood. I'd say Broner is a top twenty p4p fighter, right now. And he's either a big win or just some more consistently impressive showings with a top ten guy losing big or retiring away from cracking top ten.

Who decided DeMarco was the. Number 1 guy at lightweight? Looking at records surely you'd have to say Vazquez and Burns should be ranked higher? DeMarco is a good fighter, but his best win was a come from behind KO of the famously fragile Linares. Broner is clearly a top talent, but so many people are putting him on a pedestal already and when someone points out that his achievements so far haven't been all that amazing they go mental and accuse that person o being a hater. It's ridiculous.

I'm a fan of the kid as much as I am of Canelo both are the future of boxing, but he doesn't deserve top 10 yet. I'd say top 15-20, but after beating the Vasquez-Gesta winner he'd be fast approaching top 10 in no time.
