Cant help but feel this fight is getting very poor publicity, normally my mates who don't really follow boxing, the casuals, would have mentioned this fight to me by now, most of them know Hattons making a comeback but that's all they know. I thought this would be all over the news etc, but because its on primeshite it's of course getting next to no publicity.
Shame given what Hatton has done for British boxing. I know some of you have been critical that Hatton has gone the PPV route but I'd do the same as would nearly everyone if the offer was there, just a shame Sky have stopped doing it because they would have hyped it to death. I also wonder if the Matchroom deal with Sky prevented it from ever being an option with Sky too as well as previous poor PPV fights. |

When they dropped him he tweeted "If you want loyalty then buy a dog". He clearly was really angry with them, after all the money he's brought them over the years and they apparently dropped him via email, didn't have the bottle to tell him personally. He still has an arse ache with them now and he even hasn't been back on Ringside since and neither have any of his fighters to my knowledge. He obviously feels betrayed. |

Ricky Hatton did this to himself...
And you know how much of a cunt, broadcasting stations are when it comes to boxing. "If where not showing it, we won't talk about it".... |
