Most idiots here don't realize that Viloria almost killed a fighter named Ruben Contreras and it affected how he approached his fights - he became gun shy.

He was the hardest puncher in the 2000 US olympic team PFP, and that was coming from his fellow teammates.

If ward is top ten, I don't see how Viloria, who has a more credble wins against a more credible opponents in a more credible fashion should not be.

He is way more skilled than Martinez, if you know your boxing fundamentals.

This is spot on. Though can also argue BV have had the most unnecessary loses to B-C level-types (eg. Tamara, Romero 1--unnecessary because he could've won those easily, but got careless or gassed out) which his critiques could use against him.

Resume and ability-wise, Brian should be up there.

This was a phenomenal fight.... each round Marquez hurt Viloria, somehow Marquez found himself on the ground instead....
