Marciano or Patterson would be most humble of all time.
Out of that list, Lewis. Holyfield seems smug to me and seems to still think he actually deserves title shots. From what I've heard from people who have met Foreman away from the press, he's pretty stuck up and not a very nice guy. |

Point proven
![]() Why is Lennox Lewis running his mouth he would KO Wladimir Klitschko the hw champion of the world when in REALITY he had chance to fight him when he was the Champ? Why does Lennox Lewis denigrate Wladimir's hw reign now and then in some interviews he gaves. One of the most pathetic manners of Lewis is when he keeps propping his insecure EGO saying he beat the better brother when he fought Vitali. ![]() http://kuvaton.com/k/Y4R7.jpg Reality Check. ![]() He is insecurity man when it comes to certain things and his fans keep proving it time after time again. He left so much Critics behind him he cant even keep his shit together.

I like Lennox, but some of the shit he has come out over the years would have made Lord Flashheart blush. A thousand puppies die every time the phrase "pugilist specialist" comes out of his mouth.
Behind the public persona, there haven't been too many humble heavyweight champions. While Louis made all the right noises in public, it's hard to buy a prolific swordsman of Louis' calibre as a "humble" individual. Patterson is probably the most genuninely humble of the heavyweight champs. Not coincidentally, he's also the only one to pack a disguise in his fight bag before a title defence. Hubris and talent tend to go hand in hand, and it takes a certain kind of individual not to be affected by the status that goes with being the heavyweight champion of the world. |

I read a book on Jimmy Braddock...
He gets my vote out of any HW champ..... Very nice, and humble man, or so the book went. He even owned a bar that had to shut down because he gave away too many free drinks. |

Patterson. No HW champ is really humble though, gotta have that arrogance.
From the list, Lewis. Though i wouldn't say Lewis was humble but he was definitely respectful... too respectful at times. Old George could be, but Young George no way. Holyfield no, but likeable. |

Big George was hardly humble. He changed his persona later in life for business reasons but he was always a killer off camera...
Oh and to answer your thread, I'd probably have to say Holyfield. |
