Also, Vargas was caught ONE time. His trainer/nutritionist that he hired for the DLH fight was later arrested if I stand correct. They found steroids in his home or some shit. Every single fight Vargas was in EXCEPT the DLH fight, his body looked the same. When he fought DLH everyone thought he looked good physically. But it was only because the steroids he was on made his body cut. After that fight he went back to looking the way he always did.

In short, he was either tricked into taking them (which I believe because he stated he was taking oral supplements from his dirty hired trainer) OR he found ways to take PED's without getting caught with the exclusion of the DLH fight.

And according to this new info Mayweather was caught 3 times. LOL.

Ummmmm, I never saw the fight and I didn't really care. I was in the Air Force and didn't have HBO at the time. I just saw highlights the next day on ESPN. No one in their right mind thought Gatti would beat him.

Also, according to this. As soon as he heard about the positive test he was retested, probably within days of the fight, and it came back negative. It seems to me that this likely was a one time fuck up rather than a career long process. Why would he suddenly fail ONE test in his entire career if he was roiding the whole time? Because he was only roiding ONE time and it was because he had a dirty trainer in his corner for the biggest fight of his career. Also, if you knew anything about the steroid he was caught with. It's in ORAL form, hence it would make it VERY likely that Vargas' story checks out. He said his nutritionist was giving him oral supplements in camp, which he had never done before in his career.

I don't know. He's the chairman of the BWAA member committee, Muhammad Ali's primary biographer and is already fairly acclaimed as a journalist and author.
