Ummmmm, I never saw the fight and I didn't really care. I was in the Air Force and didn't have HBO at the time. I just saw highlights the next day on ESPN. No one in their right mind thought Gatti would beat him.

So go on, keep making up lame comebacks. LOL

Oh wait, you won't be able to.

Also, according to this. As soon as he heard about the positive test he was retested, probably within days of the fight, and it came back negative. It seems to me that this likely was a one time **** up rather than a career long process. Why would he suddenly fail ONE test in his entire career if he was roiding the whole time? Because he was only roiding ONE time and it was because he had a dirty trainer in his corner for the biggest fight of his career. Also, if you knew anything about the steroid he was caught with. It's in ORAL form, hence it would make it VERY likely that Vargas' story checks out. He said his nutritionist was giving him oral supplements in camp, which he had never done before in his career.

But, to each their own.

You have a dedicated thread to shout nonsense at each other, use it.
But the threads aren't about floyd and pac, they're about Hauser's article and peds in boxing!

Oh wait a minute...

I'm letting my ignore list shield me from reality. Ok. I know where to look now.

Dunno if it's posted here (I'm not going to wade into this whole pile of hijacked **** of a thread), but Mike Woods of TSS had picked up this story too. ****storm's brewing...

I do think it is worthy of its own thread, seeing some of the putrid threads that exist. It is newsworthy and even though it may be whiny at Mayweather, I think it should be there in its own thread for people to see because I reckon a lot of posters don't come in here to this thread (including myself) often if at all, so they mightn't see the article.
I agree. Sad that *****ngs are desperate into dragging Pac's name into a news that did not involve him and making it one big Pac**** vs. *****ng ***wars, just to hijack a brilliant investigative piece--when Floid is just one piece of the bigger picture. Misdirection of the most deliberate order.

The only thing that's troubling is I can't see Thomas Hauser stirring this **** up without some type of source (yet to be named) to run with it on. Does he have an axe to grind with Floyd? I don't know. He's the chairman of the BWAA member committee, Muhammad Ali's primary biographer and is already fairly acclaimed as a journalist and author.

The site isn't deleting topics but simply moving them and reviewing them during this difficult time in order to ensure proper legal protection. I'm sure you'd understand.

Thats all you need to know about this bull****, and to think people are taking this article as gospel when it invokes Gabreil Montoya lying ass name with a level of respect

the bigger picture here about hauser's article is GBP and USADA's involvement in a fix and trying to cover fighters (not ony floyd) who tested positive just to go on with the card.

*****s have trying to make it into a pacquiao related thread.

i'm sure they would rather not be involved with this when schaefer and/or travis tygart make some moves but this is a forum and people just carried and discussed hauser's article.

this PED mess is boxing-related and should be discussed and not censored.
