I don't think he's improved. I think he was a great boxer then just like he is now. He just doesn't do as well against guys with real power. Nobody does, when it comes to that, but Broner isn't super hard to hit like a Mayweather and he's always going to be in danger from big punching guys.

You think Demarco would have lasted that long if he tried to fight in the pocket with Valero? I think Valero is overrated but his power was for real.

Styles makes fights, we saw how Broner struggled with PDL, what would have happened if a dynamic puncher like Valero tapped Broners chin? I'd favour Broner but its a toss up.

Yeah, I agree that Demarco has improved since the Valero fight. But still, I don't think it concretely proves Broner is easily better than what Valero was. I'll have to watch that Valero fight again, but from what I remember, he beat Demarco without even going into second gear. Apart from the horrible cut he suffered from an accidental elbow, I don't remember Demarco doing anything to trouble him.

Id love to see Broner fight just as aggressively with a vagina over his eyebrow and knock DeMarco out.. Valero was a quality operator. As crazy as he was out of the ring, he was inside it.. Broner would shit himself before he got in to the ring and his mini floyd style would get knocked out of him.. He'd be forced to fight Edwin's fight and lose.
