If Ward sold huge in Oakland then it would be fine for him to constantly fight there, but he doesn't. The fights with Kessler and Froch would've sold twice as many tickets in their home towns, in fact a Froch rematch would sell over 30,000 in the City ground garunteed.
Fighting on the road in a hostile environment makes a big difference of course Ward wouldn't know anything about that |

Only thing you fags can do is say he's boring but dont dare speak on how he beat every fighter he's faced and is getting better and better...Deal with it because he gonna be on top for a long time. |

The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff used Arena Seating facilities to boost its capacity to 50,000 for a record-breaking indoor crowd at the highly anticipated World Title superfight between Joe Calzaghe and Mikkel Kessler on November 3rd 2007. When Ricky Hatton staged his successful comeback fight at City of Manchester Stadium, Arena Seating was asked to install a large amount of temporary seating on the pitch area of Manchester City’s state of the art football ground. At 55,000 capacity the fight was billed as the largest outdoor crowd to watch a boxing match in the UK, beating the previous British best of 42,000. How many ticket do you think a Ward froch rematch could sell yet he would rather earn nothing fighting in a half full 8k capacity stadium at home |

Big fan of all 3 fighters mentioned, for different reasons.
If Froch vs Kessler II happens, i would like Ward to travel to the winners backyard and prove a point. Froch was a world champion when he went to Ward's country and Kessler's aswell. Kessler was a world champion and the division #1 when he went to Ward's hometown. Why should Ward be any different simply because he's from the US? |

I don't think either guy can touch Ward in any venue. It ain't the locale, it's the styles. Ward beat both clearly enuf that neither can outright demand a rematch against him.
I'd rather see both pursue the rematch with each other than Ward. |
