Damn Rocky's Split Nose those pictures of Sam are incredible

The Fatman Tony Galento and Harry Thomas weigh in. Tony managed to put Thomas away quicker than Joe Louis with a TKO in the 3rd. It was the third and final time Thomas would ever be stopped in 57 bouts. Following the bout he was banned for life from fighting in Pennsylvania...Thomas that is.

Tony squares off against the cooky Carlifornian Lou Nova, who was hot off wins over Tommy Farr and Max Baer. It was the first time Nova was stopped and he later remarked that Tony ruined him and that he was the only person he'd ever encountered in the ring who purposley tried to maim a guy.

Galento weighed in 40 pounds heavier than Thomas, and the difference is abundantly obvious in the picture.
