I like Kessler and Froch, and I like Ward. They're all great fighters and I respect all of them.

This forum just gets ridiculous. Carl gets more credit than Andre, even though Andre easily beat him.

Some of these fans want the result to be overturned because Carl had to travel and Andre didn't.

It's like how people don't appreciate Roy on here. People say he was overated etc. But if you take a step back, and be honest with yourself, you know he would've breezed through the Super Six with relative ease.

Ward has pretty much dominated, but gets less credit than Kessler and Froch.

It doesn't make sense.

They'll be threads soon, labelling him a ducker, just because he hasn't gone to Denmark and Britain.

If he moves up to 175, some idiot will say he's running from the rematches.

There's some right lunatics on here, and it seems to be getting worse each day!

Bute fought Froch in the UK and there is a re-match planned in Canada. Froch fought Kessler in Denmark and has stated he will be happy to face Froch in the UK.

This is the way it should be rather than fighting the Mack's, Grachev's and Pavlik's of the World.

It would be cool to see Ward go to their backyards and fight them again, and especially seeing as they are calling him out to do so.

Plenty of fighters have re-matched an opponent having already beaten them convincingly so why are you Ward fanboys so reluctant to have him travel to Europe to take on guys who went to the states to face him?

What, because you'd rather see him face Pavlik like that's less of a waste of time?

Why is the concept of re-matches and foreign trips so alien to you ? .......... and especially when there is limited options out there?

So what makes you think Ward would have won outside the USA? Because he won home decisions easily? Then why did he have a glass passport and refuse to leave Oakland! you see youre using a trend...a trend that ward kept winning while conveniently forgetting another trend...americans kept losing on the road (lets not forget it was ward who flat-out refused to travel fighting exclusively in some town in the middle of nowhere). So what makes you assume your trend will be the one to keep intact and not the americans losing on the road one?

If Carl and Mikkel had been cowards liker Ward and refused to leave home, Ward would be still beltless, its cowards like Ward who ruin boxing. I have more respect for dirrell than I do ward.

You've made some good points, and hopefully he'll fight them both again. I'm only defending his right to have a break and take the fight with Kelly. He's earnt it.

TWO FIGHTERS! One was robbed according to a lot of people.

He didn't fight abroad, because Goosen swung thigs in his favour. If Eddie Hearn could have done the same for Froch, Froch would have taken it.

Froch and Kessler HAD TO LEAVE HOME because Showtime hosted the event! They had to make concessions to try and win the tournament.

If Matchroom or Sauerland had have hosted it exclusively, then Ward would have had to travel at some point.

All of the promoters and fighters AGREED to the terms.

A COWARD? He's just won the Super Six easily and then fought Dawson, in what most people saw as an even fight when it was signed.

Why would you have more respect for Dirrell? Just because he had to go to Nottingham?

The guy that gets outclassed in the final, gets MORE CREDIT than the guy who outclassed everyone to win the whole tournament, just because he had to travel!

I have little problem with Ward fighting Pavlik now. There's no reason to hype the fight though. It's a gimme against someone who has namevalue only. Just like the Dawson fight.

I'm from Sheffield.

We now know that Chad was weight drained. But at the time the fight was signed, that was seen as a good competitve fight. You're making it sound as though he won the Super Six, and then only wanted easy fights. That wasn't seen as an easy fight when it was signed.

Chad is lacking in mental strength but he's a good fighter. The only question mark about the fight, was whether the weight would effect him or not. He assured everyone at the time, that it wouldn't be a problem. Obviously it was. But like I say, at the time, Chad was a dangerous opponent. He's a big strong southpaw with good skills.

Chad was more than happy to drop to 168. I don't think a lot of the other guys in the Super Six, would have fought Chad Dawson in their first fight after winning the tournament, had they won it.
