..your a hard man..last nights fight was a good fight..both guys were fightin' there arse off...Green was clockin' up the rounds but Cameron was always in it..both guys had a red hot go..and holdin' and grapplin' are very good tactics to prevent a guy from trying to knock you out too..horses for courses..

I think hits hard to see anything other than Geale outworking Mundine over the distance. Geales at his peak now and Mundine is an old man in boxing terms.

If MUndine were to lose a clear cut decision/tko to Geale what would he do ? Surely he wouldn't continue fighting numpties from Argentina on mainevent or would he call it a day in boxing ?

When Mundine starts to tire, and he will, i think it will get quite messy then. Older as he is and im pulling for Geale in this fight, Mundine can still time and throw more accurate punches than Geale. But he needs to be really set and have the other guy basically infront of him. Geale knows how to box better on the front foot than in '09 and his footwork is a bit more clever too than it was then.

Not underestimated, he has a chance and ive always thought Mundine is a better pure boxer than Geale. He is going to train like a mad man for this no doubt. However, he is 37, im not sure his body can do 12 rounds of world championship boxing against an elite level champion. He wont be able to take rounds off like he is accustomed to doing against lesser opponents that he has fought of late. Do you think Mundine would of been able to keep up with the pace Sturm-Geale was fought at ? When he is let pick his shots, sure, classy boxer but way more to it than that, at this level!!.

I realize that, I am a huge fan of geale, I dont like mundine one bit but have respect for his athleticism, I'm not taking anything from geale and I want him to win, however mundine is still fairly accurate.

He's 37, has a bunk hip, and a bunk eye. No matter how hard he tries, I just don't think he can hang for very long at the top level. If at all. |
