Default Bernard Hopkins - How great?

What Bernard Hopkins is currently doing/accomplishing, how historically great is it really?

47 years old and damn near the top of his division.

* Not to mention, he's only fighting 10-20 pounds above the early stages of his career. Him not blowing up to a slob of a heavyweight is great in itself, IMO.

he is a hard one to rate. He is great, yet he was not top 30 ATG.. A very solid fighter..

Top 50, I'd say. He was definitely great, and one of the smartest boxers I've ever seen. His craftiness and ring IQ was astounding. Has wins over De La Hoya, Trinidad, Tarver, Pavlik, Pascal, Johnson, Wright, Joppy, etc.
His masterclass against Pavlik at 43 years old really helps his legacy, I think.

Great all-round fighter.

If he had tried fighting instead of cheating it would have been much clearer on the cards. He should have been disqualified.
Absolute disgrace that he got away with it.
Calzaghe beat him with brittle hands too. True great.
