Wlad is already a top 10. And he could climb as high as 3-7 depending on who he beats and how long he fights on winning.

Vitali, with those 4 gaping prime yrs missing from his resume, is lacking in the resume dept. H2H, no doubt top 10. But overall, missing those 4 yrs, it'd be a stretch to push him into the top 10. Right now, I got him between 11-15, and a win over Haye would certainly help his chances, but Haye would have to win some fights afterwards.

I actually think Vitali's win over Charr will help him legacywise moreso than a win over Haye. He's fighting Juan Carlos Gomez next and a win there cements him in the top 10 IMO. He's actually pursuing a title, unlike Haye who seems content on pursuing paychecks.

Absolutely not ATG material. They need to just go away.

exactly

IMO You have to at least fight and hold your own against an ATG to be considered one.
There is no one who is equal in size, skill and power with Wladimir. Wlad is in a class of his own. How can anyone ever become an ATG in Heavyweight division anymore if you need to fight and hold your own against an ATG?

If the Klitschko's were black and American they would make 300 million dollars a year.

Wlad's only claim to ATG status is his long run beating pond life, nothing else.

Vitali is tough enough to tangle with the best of them h2h and gave another ATG such a hard fight it retired him.

Wlad would of been beaten badly if he was fighting Lewis instead of VItali. I consider Vitali a better HW.

If Vitali isn't, then the same arguements apply to why Wlad isn't either.

Besides the Latinos in the MLB and the Russians(generalizing the USSR to one) in the NHL, the teams are filled with Americans, and would be heavily favored to beat any team from any country in competition. We also win the most medals in the Olympics, and although we definitely have programs and schools for these events, are not like China, who literally groom and create athletes from their booming population from the time of their inception.

But you are right about if the fighter is not American, or overly charismatic, it's hard for Americans to notice or appreciate the athlete. It also doesn't help that if you don't get premium channels( HBO,Showtime,Epix) or have the money to afford the PPV's, you can't find boxing on Tv besides FNF. And that talent is on such a low compared to the elite, it's hard to gain new fans, or make people wanna learn the science behind it. We're lucky to even get highlights or fight results announced on ESPN, if it doesn't have to do with Mayweather or Pac.

I left out Racing because i don't consider it a sport, and Tennis and Golf, which are usually dominated by one or two people for yrs ie, Tiger, Williams sisters, Federer, or won by a complete nobody that pulls off an epic upset.

It should be 51 Ko's right?? if memory serves me right, before the Haye fight Wlad had 50 written on his had, suggesting Haye would be #50 KO victim, and although Haye went the distance, Wlad then went on to stop Mormeck, and Thopmson by KO, so there would be #'s 50, and 51
I'm just talking overall in general. For example, America will still win the gold in basketball, but the games are a lot closer now than they were years ago. There are a heck of a lot more foreign players in the NBA today, than there were years ago...same with other sports too. The world is catching up, and in some cases (individual talent) has surpassed what the US can produce.

Neither is ATG. They will soon be forgotten when the division gets strong again.

Wlad clearly is..

Vitali is a sure HOF, but probably not an ATG.. He is a better and more complete fighter though. While I do think Wlad is underrated in H2H match-ups, Vitali is more of a threat in that department IMO..
