RJJ got KTFO many times recently and still wants to fight the best, thing is with fighters their pride do them alot of harm, i respect Bute for wanting to fight Froch but i cant see how it can be any different, Bute did not change his trainer could not be much better defensively than he was and thing that was surprising to me he hit Froch with few good counters and Froch just walked through them. bute doesnt have the power or skill to keep Froch of him and doesnt have defense to deal with Frochs attack.

“I believe life is constantly testing us for our level of commitment, and life's greatest rewards are reserved for those who demonstrate a never-ending commitment to act until they achieve. This level of resolve can move mountains, but it must be constant and consistent. As simplistic as this may sound, it is still the common denominator separating those who live their dreams from those who live in regret.”
Better he fells short giving his best than living in regret and after he retires keep asking what if. |

How much choice does he really have?
Can he really come out and say "Froch certainly had my number. He gave me a brutal castration and I think it's understandable that I don't put myself at his mercy again. But will you still come to the Bell Centre so I can cream you by edging past some quality B and C level guys?" We all know the rematch could end badly, but the poor guy is in a bad position and needs to seem up for the fight. |

![]() Like Froch took on Bute after he was beat by Ward so does Bute can take on Cloud or Kessler in Montreal. |

You really think he can say no to the rematch and be taken seriously? I genuinely feel sorry for him. |

I think he can say no to the rematch, and fight world class opponent who's not a stylish nightmare. He might win against that guy, he might loose and look very good. What would you say if Ward win only by SD against Bute ? He can fight guys like Stevenson and Edwin Rodriguez in Canada for 2-3 more fights make more cash and call it a quit. He can do a lot of things.

He has more proud than that. Anyway, like any other fighter, Bute believes in himself. Even Hatton thought a comeback was possible. And as any fan, I believe in him too (but my brain knows what may happen). |

It's absolutely a disgrace tot he sport, that it is a prerequisite for Bute to get past Froch before he's considered for that fight. Stlyes make fights, and in hindisght, it has become obvious that Froch's style is all wrong for Bute. Whereas Ward would be served up to him on a silver platter.

Yep, it's pretty clear right now Bute finds very hard to cope with the "vicious reckless and relentless aggressor with heavy hands". Pascal somehow is a bit simmilar, Kessler likes to fight at a distance where Bute is like a fish in the water for example.
