Default Interesting fine by me, Earnie Shavers Autographed book

(I also put this in the main forum, but actually thought you guys might enjoy the story more right when I put it up.)

Almost a year ago I was looking to sell some of my book and found a website where you type in the ISBN of a book and it gave you what they will give you for it. Most books were like two to three dollars, especially the boxing ones. I got to Earnie Shavers, Welcome to the Big Time and it came up like 75 dollars...I just thought it was something wrong with the system.

Today I am going through these same books I haven't touched in years and opened the book and saw the autograph. I bought this book at a book fair for two or three bucks, and I believe it's worth about 75 bucks.

Not sure what I'll do with it, I don't really need the money, but at the same time I never really collected autographs or anything of that nature.

They sell for a few hundred a piece, autographed, on Amazon.

Not sure if that's a handful of people trying to make a ridiculous killing on it or if it's legit, but you might want to try selling it on there.

I have only seen a few pictures online of the autographed copy, and what I was doing was comparing my copy to the one I saw. They were all different, as in they really don't look like a copy. I really wish I had a way to confirm 100 percent it is real. I think I might try to contact the company who published the book.

I'm going to guess they ran an unsuccessful limited pressing.

Just heard back from the publishing company. It is indeed a signed copy. It goes from anywhere between 75-150 on ebay. I really wish I would have picked up every copy they had. I bought it for like three dollars, lol
