I like Holmes who was much bigger, had a big reach advantage, a far superior jab, at least equal in speed and a superior chin .... likely by decision but a stopage is possible ...

Charles was better than Michael Spinks in every way, prime vs prime a tough fight but Charles finds a home for his right hand and left hook and piles up the points for a close UD

Charles is the more talented boxer, but in today's terms he's a crusierweight. Holmes is a real Heavyweight. In a fight Holmes works his famous jab and scores from the outside. It's posibile for Charles to take advantage of Holmes over cofidance and catch him with a good punch.

Holmes by close decision. Perhaps he'd fight him like he fought M. Spinks in their rematch? I had Holmes winning that fight.

Ezzard was awesome (#1 all-time at LHW IMO) but Holmes was a top 5 all-time HW IMO... closer to #1 than 5 actually. Holmes is taller, has a longer reach, and is bigger (about 30 Lbs. heavier). Charles was faster but Holmes was far from slow.

Larry said he was thrown off by Spink's akward style he said he threw uppercuts when he was supposed to throw jabs and hooks where uppercuts were supposed to be. Charles was a very by the book boxer and didn't have a akward style so he wouldn't of been able to throw Holmes off, And Charles was only 6' foot, so it would have made that even more difficult for him seeing as Spinks was 6'2, Charles would look very small next to Holmes and that would affect the fight, he can't box him as effectively with that height difference, even though he could box him he would not win
