Default Re: Andre Berto -- Another Haymon Hype Job Exposed

He was never an A Level fighter anyway, he started getting elevated to that position by the money-men because Pacquiao had ripped the welterweight division up and Berto was the last man standing, so they tried to market him as the last big threat other than Floyd in the division.

But who ****ing cares?

The guy was still on a level that very few boxers will ever get to, he was a quality fighter that just happened to be a level under the Floyds, Mannys and Cottos of this world.

What is with you so-called fans that try to shit on guys that are anywhere outside the p4p Top 5 list.

**** off!

Seems like Berto has now been reduced to nothing more than as a gatekeeper for a Floyd Mayweather shot. Ortiz got his through him, and now no doubt Guerrero will, too.

He was a hypejob coming into this fight, the fight itself just gives further evidence to that.

The reason why people mention this, is that they don't like being manipulated by promoters who try and con us into paying to watch these supposed A rated fighters, when they are really only B rated fighters at best.

Guererro is a small guy, and if the hype about Berto was true, then he would have easily blasted Guererro out of there.

Exactly!

If only the extremists and haters could appreciate the special event they saw last night instead of starting all the bullshit "exposed", "hype job", "cheater" comments.

Yeah well ill admit i love to talk shit sometimes but Berto fought with every last breath last night. Its special to see a fighter not give up and swing for the hills even tho he has been down twice and is clearly behind. Thats what i love to see, someone who refuses to give up.

Guerrero looked like the bigger and better man in the ring. I would like to see a rematch, but if Guerrero gets a shot against Mayweather then more power to him.

The biggest surprise last night was how easy Guererro muscled the "Muscle" around in the ring.
