Its safe to.say, Broner will clean out 135 in 2013, he will whoop Burns, then Titere Vasquez. Hes been calling out Marquez, who probably cant make 135 any more, but 140 easily. Its safe to say, size would not be a big issue IMO, there about the same size, & it could be argued that Broner has more power @135, then Marquez did. I know Broner is ESBs most hated, and JMM is one of ESBs most loved, but bias asides, who wins and how?? Your simply a blind fool if you dont see Broners talents.
I could see Broners speed giving JMM problems early, but give JMM 2 or 3 rounds to adjust, and he will be ok. He will find holes in the philly shell, and out some leather on Broner. I could see them both slugging it out, and it going to a close decision, going either way in a classic. |

bias aside? So true, because we know Broner has beaten a lot of top class opposition since he's won the WBC, he's got a fantastic resume, if we slash out the two fights he's lost, plus he's already beaten Burns apparently, and Marquez hasn't had a good performance in years, I mean really, who the fuck has he beaten?

You see the question mark at the end of my sentence? That means it was a question. So is Marquez going to be knocked out? Like you said he was last time. How did that work out again?

Broner's not mobile enough to make JMM lead and over-extend like Floyd, so the few counters JMM was able to set up to penetrate Floyd's guard at close range in most of the rounds would likely show themselves more frequently against Broner's solid but imperfect defensive stance. Unless of course he ages rapidly overnight, which at his age could happen at any moment.

I actually think that would be a great fight and would definitely like to see it if Marquez stays sharp. Marquez keeps defying the odds physically and I'm not sure how much longer he will.
I think the obvious pick right now would be Marquez. In 2013, depends on how Broner develops into the next weight class and how Marquez ages. I'd personally would like to see Marquez against Timothy Bradley. |

Broner has been calling out JMM, but you gotta be careful what you ask for. Broner is not Mayweather regardless of what people say and a fight with JMM won't go the same way. It would be a difficult fight but if Broner can pull it off, it will be his step into the big time. Make no mistake, there are some excellent fighters at 140 but knocking off JMM is like dethroning the king.
