It's all about landing a good punch accurately when he doesn't see it coming. Most knockouts are from punches that the other guy didn't see coming, and was timed perfectly.
You very rarely see boxers clubbing their opponents out. That's real power, like Foreman or Shavers. Most knockouts are a combination of speed, timing and accuracy. When it comes to actual heavy-handedness like Pacquiao, Matthysse, Shavers, Foreman, etc. It's true when they say you either have it or you don't. |

Everything. There are many variables so everything should be developed, you can't say there is one thing more important than another and it's going to vary from person to person, style to style and opponent to opponent. Speed, timing and accuracy should all be part of one package that is developed by improving your technique and skills. Land punches that your opponent doesn't see and you'll be hurting them even if you're not particularly heavy handed. Develop everything and especially your boxing skills, that's your answer.

Two god given gifts as far as I'm concerned Chin and Power those are the most rudimentary things you would need before adding skills IMHO
