Buncey - strange behaviour
I like Buncey but he does occasionally have an unfortunate way of putting things.
Strange behaviour from him on his show this evening. He looked bored through most of it, and then started wearing a flat cap with no explanation. He described 9/11 as when "those two planes landed in those buildings", he was a little disrespectful when talking of the loss of Hector Comacho and to top it off he started pulling silly faces and pretended to yawn when interviewing a chap called Mike Marley! I enjoy his Boxnation show, although it can vary considerably in quality week to week, but this weeks was the worse yet, very strange behaviour.

In all fairness I didn't hear him say any inappropriate comments, but when he first introduced the item he said "he's deeeeeaaaaaaddddddddddd".
He said it like someone would talk about a film bad guy or a pet! Now I'm not saying I haven't heard worse before, I have said far worse myself, but then again I'm not paid to be a televison presenter. I like the laughs from Buncey, I love his energy and his knowledge, but I just feel he should try a bit harder to engage his brain before his mouth sometimes. He's going to really offend someone properly if he doesn't! |

The Boxing Hour since it has been on Boxnation has been terrible. It doesnt really work, its boring, more suited for a radio show.
Is it just me or was it miles better when it was on Setanta? |

Bunce tries to entertain 100% of the time and that's usually okay but when boxing gets into the dark places that boxing tends to get into...he's out of his depth.

I think it has its moments still, but I would rather he concentrated on less guests but with more in depth interviews. The whole thing feels shambolic, this can be fun at times but it lacks the polish of the Seranta show. Quote:

Thats brilliant!I don't mean this to be a Buncy-bashing thread at all, I really do like him and he makes me laugh; its just that even I found his behaviour tonight 'strange' and he does cross a line now and again IMO. |
