Default Who do people insist Judah should have had a KD on Mayweather?

I mean, the fact that both fighters stumble off balance in opposite directions is a pretty definitive conclusion as to whether there was sufficient contact with eachothers feet, no?

Obviously Zab did land a very nice hook at the same time, but it seemed much more the footwork issue, with Floyd getting his lead foot behind Zabs, and not being able to pull it away to regain balance (which was pretty off with this shot anyway) on his right side and stumbling over

Zab was also off balance for a second or two afterward but he was in a much better position to regain it

The ref was correct to call it a slip imo

Because he landed a solid right hook, that's why.

You act as if I didn't post anything except for the title

Their feet clearly came together and caused them both to stumble

**** like that happen all the time, it was the punch causing floyd to lose balance not the foot placement, if anything zab was disadvantaged by it, not floyd.

The way Zab steps over makes it look like their feet barely come into contact. More involved trips have still been called knockdowns when caused by a punch, that's a clear knock down. No entanglement. When Floyd comes in, he's on balance, and by the time Floyd is shuffling backwards, Judah's foot is out of the way, he steps right around. Besides, his back foot would be what saves him, not his front, so with no entanglement, it's irrelevant. Southpaw and orthodox fighters are always going to have their lead legs close together.

And it seems it was his back foot that failed to balance him, not his front.

It's a knockdown. The punch landed, and Mayweather's glove touched the canvas.

Maybe there was slight foot contact, but not enough to dismiss the KD. Floyd stumbled because he was leaning in with his feet wide apart. If you get hit or pushed from the side while you're in that position then it's very easy to fall.

The same sort of thing happened against Hatton. Mayweather leaned in while throwing a shot, and Hatton hit him with a right hand counter that sent Mayweather off balance. You can see it in the first part of this gif (not the latter bit, where he falls backwards):

His backfoot failed because he couldn't unplant his front foot because it was momentarily stuck against/behind Judahs

If there wasn't a blocking of feet, I don't think anyone can say that he would have lost balance in the same manner

The punch alone wouldn't do it

Same thing happened in the beggining of that gif, and Floyd was even probably a litle stunned by Hatton, but he didn't have the issue with his feet so he was able to stay upright

He gets hit coming in for a right hand to the stomach by Hatton, gets knocked off balance and doesn't go over

Gets hit coming in for a right to the stomach by Judah, this time his foot is behind Judah so has to pull his leg backwards..and he stumbles backwards (so does Judah)

Mayweather has a very questionable chin... Luckily for him he has great defense and doesn't get hit very often.

Zab loses balance because of the foot placement, yes. But Floyd doesn't. The feet getting tangled have very little effect on his balance, because his momentum/body is going forward when the feet hit - which wouldn't have made him go falling back in the direction he did. Only if he was backing up in the opposition direction of Zab, would that tangling of the feet be the cause of him losing balance like that.

It was the punch that did it. Legit knockdown.

Says it all really don't it? The biggest things people can find on floyd is knockdown from zab and the big right hand from Moseley. Deary me
