i can almost 100 percent guarantee that canelo will be fighting a ranked jmw opponent next.
and there is absolutely no way that he will be fighting a blown-up ww or someone coming off a loss. there is already too much hate and dlh is very aware of it. |

Exactly and he is already filling up stadiums and getting incredibly high tv ratings. Think about when he starts facing the big names. |

i live in mexico and canelo is a forethought here. you have to earn fans in mexico and you do so by fighting the best.
nobody here is falling for gbp's bullshit. although i live in sinaloa and its obviously biased, no one would dare compare the careers of jr to canelo. you would get laughed at. |

I remember a guy who had plenty of fans. He was very exciting and could draw a crowd. He fought C+
and B- level opponents. Once he decided to call out an A list fighter, he was smoked. RIP Gatti. I remember a young champion who was making plenty of noise, who actually fought good competition and got battered once he stepped up in class. Shout out to Fernando Vargas. This is the route Canelo would rather go. If he's going to be beaten, it's going to be for a very good payday. Nothing wrong with that, just vacate the title and let the contenders fight for it. Since he has no intention on fighting any of them. |

I'm a big fan of Alvarez, but the kid has not paid any dues at all. He's getting the superstar treatment because right now, the's the top boy band around. He may get huge paydays, but his career and development could be short and less then stallar because of the kid gloves used to handle him. If GBP had any confidence in him, he'd be facing top contenders before being annointed the NEW PPV King or Superstar. Sadly, this is the direction boxing is, and has been, going for a while now. All business, no sport.
