The premiere of the documentary "The Spirit of Boxing" will screen on wednesday night at the Palace Cinema Como in Melbourne. Guests include Johnny Famechon, Lester Ellis, Barry Michael and Frank Ropis.

That this was the last work of Gus Mercurio alone makes this documentary significant.

250 people attended the premier screening of the "The Spirit of Boxing" documentary last night.

It will be for sale as a DVD very shortly from a website with the same name as the doco.

Heard the producer and two people who attended talking about it on the car radio. Wasn't there myself.
