C'mon the jump in weight didn't have that much of an impact. He was still in his physical prime and was only a year removed from dominating Urango(at 140) and had already beaten a very tricky career WW(Collazo). The version of Hatton that Mayweather fought was the same guy that fought Tszyu...except Tszyu was clearly faded and the fight was a weight class down.

And when they did fight, Steward was freaking the **** out even when Lewis was winning. And WTF does Steward know? Why is he referenced like some know it all? Lewis is also on record exclaiming that he didn't want to fight Tyson after he sparred with him, because he was like "an animal." Its clear that Lewis knew he was going to get his chin blasted out of the ring if he ever stepped in with Tyson in the 80s when he was at the top of his game.

Holy should've fought Ruddock in 1991 though, yeah. Why Tyson had to beat the shit out of this guy twice (and ruin his career in the process) to get a shot at the titles he unified was totally ****in preposterous. And his own promoter once again, was happy to **** him over. On an Ego trip.

Ruiz was a joke ass DKP fighter, Lewis shouldn't of ever been stripped. Everybody wanted him to fight Grant at the time.

Both Tyson or Ruddock would've beaten Holy IMO

Both got screwed over ... Ruddock never got a title shot until the guy was completely done and shot ... and this delayed Tyson's chance at a title bout and he ultimately ended up in prison.

Team Floyd is what I call a good cherry picker, somewhere along the lines of SRL (the goat of cherry picking, too bad he revealed it).

Team Pac is what I call horrible cherry picking.

A person who is adept at cherry picking can detect when an opponent is ripe for the picking and few people know it, let alone the general public. The good win will mask the fact that the fighter has a glaring flaw, diminished in performance, or simply has been found to have a good stylistic matchup.

A bad cherrypicker will blatantly select an opponent that has a much more tangible certainty of losing (ie a recent loss, essentially shit you can see on record- weights, etc), and is consequently more easily detectable by the public.

Think of the difference between the two like a fighter selecting his opponent vs a manager (who has no fight experience) selecting an opponent for his fighter. The fighter knows his own body more than anyone else
