It all depends on the time you have off. A week is fuck all, you should take a week off every now and then when you're feeling shit for a few days. A month or more will be negative on your performance.

It's about training smart not hard, something which most boxers won't accept as this concept is "new school".

I am going to cut again, but travelling and first week on holiday, it's up and down.

I will be cutting calorie intake from tomorrow, but it isn't too bad as I can cut sufficiently within the next few days.
