Gavin's has been such a massive disappointment. Look at other prospects like Groves, DeGale, Frampton, Quigg and how they were brought along. Those guys are approaching world level now and look where Gavin is.

i'd imagine so both fights set for that date (****** won purse for gethin murphy)
seen Frankie saying on his facebook its a localish fight 20mins drive away and Gethin saying his fight is that date probably in Wolverhampton or Walsall (both would fit) |

yep both fights are at walsall town hall on the 18th live on boxnation. im defo going to this gunna b a cracking night. gavin on points and gethin late stoppage for me

not a bad fight for his 15th fight if he wasnt in the spotlight because of his amateur success. he needs a couple more at the top of uk level before he moves to euro level because he still needs the experience.
it doesnt matter what other boxers are doing, the fact is he progressed way too slowly to even worry about where he 'should' be. at the moment he needs to learn his skills by fighting through the ranks. euro title fights are a year or two off even at full steam ahead with four good fights a year. |
