Tysons time at champ was a foot note, his wins at champ or before were against nobodies, old men and light heavyweights.

I don't remember Byrd being very competitive, but Vitali had a shoulder injury the whole time. As for the rounds thing, Holmes, for one, fought plenty of poor competition and struggled more than Vitali in those fights.

You don't remember Byrd backing Vitaly up and making him miss most of the fight? And the injury was never brought up by Vits corner until the end of the 7th.

Vitali had won like 75% of the rounds. He didn't look great doing it, but he was winning fairly easily.

Lol, that's the same list as mine with the exception of Marciano, Tunney and Dempsey. Marciano and Dempsey are just smaller versions of Frazier who never beat anyone close to the caliber of Ali. Tunney has no wins over an elite type heavy except Dempsey who had taken years off. How about backing up you case?
