By the way, I was never able to run past 12km. Lucky for me that was the standard track I had to run when still in the Airforce.

Aircraft Security Team.
Defending helicopters, pilots and personell in air and on the ground (mostly for Chinooks and Apaches).

I loved it... did it for 8 odd years until everything fell apart because of cutbacks. It completely screwed up our defence department.
I could have stayed, but there was nothing and no one left.
So now I'm behind a desk 5 days a week, 8 hours a day...

sitting behind a desk pays good money usually
and you will have a big pension later if you work still for the government
big disadvantage is becoming fat
unless you have the discipline to do sport in the evening
easier said then done after a full day job
