I repeat; that's a problem that Gamboa can't solve. Be careful what you ask for.

Thank God that Gamboa is back instead of wasting his prime away. I'll wait until his return fight to see what inactivity has done to him. Broner's noticeably bigger and stronger but has a few flaws Gamboa could capitalize on should they ever fight. War Gamboa.

This would be fairly entertaining.

I think Gamboa has the edge in styles here. He is faster and possibly more power. Defense is key here for Broner. Broner however only throws single shots and can be overwhelmed as we saw with PDL. Gamboa can definitely implement the volume punching strategy PDL used but with more speed, accuracy and power.

If Broners defense is as good as people make it out to be then he wins this as he also has a size advantage. However, Broners defense is nowhere near as good as advertised. slower fighters have found him cleanly. A guy like Gamboa would definitely find him and test Broners chin. My guess is once he clips him Broner will go too defensive and Gamboa will go all out with fast combinations that will keep finding Broner and either stopping him late or winning a wide UD. I do see Gamboa going down several times as well. Broner may catch him ocassionally off balance but Gamboa will recoup like usual and get back to work.

Gamboa UD is my prediction.

Would Al Haymon, and Richard Schaefer and the matchmakers say kick rocks? I really feel that Broner is trying to separate himself with the Floyd comparisons by truly fighting everyone.

Gamboas a better fighter in a p4p sense but head to head Broner might just be too big and strong for him.

I agree he hasn't, and this is a great fight to be made.. I don't see it happening at 135 though, Broner's not going to be there long...

Yea rather watch this one than Floyd-Pacman. I think Gamboa is too much for Broner, but the inactivity could hurt Gamboa and that remains to be seen once he takes on Farenas. After that fight, I'll have a clearer view.

That's true, Broner had only maximum average opponents. Golovkin for example had only mediocre. But Gamboa is only a puncher.

Gamboa gets knocked out cold. then afterwards, we'll hear the "he was too small" excuses.

I'm starting to think superfights like this are largely a thing of the past. Fighters aren't willing to risk these type of bouts anymore. Rios and Gamboa falling through just stank. When's the last time two PRIME, very talented, exciting fighters like Gamboa and Broner got in the ring?
