I like how there were 4 punches Marquez got hit with where his head didn't snap back but his ass hit the canvas....

Plus JMM got better fundementals and keeps his chin tucked so even when he gets him. Most of the time would be on his forehead. Which is why his brow was swollen too.

They were grazing shots that aren't easy to spot on TV unless you slow things down. That's probably why the compubox stats were in Pac's favour. The better, more noticeable shots were coming from JMM, whilst the grazing, unclean punches in higher numbers were Pac's.

Also, it's important to note JMM's head rarely ever snaps back from punches. He has a pretty stiff neck. Whilst Pac, with his floppy hair, can be spotted a mile away when he's hit. Shit, even the ones he blocks with his glove make it look like he's been smacked by a hayemaker.
yeah, i noticed that too. So should Pac fight from the inside like the way Rios fight?

Hmm that's because Pac hardly lands a flush shot, always glancing blow after a 5 punch combo hell be lucky to land one jab but compubox says he connected all of them even the commentators say it when in reality he didn't land one effective punch, Marquez actually lands solid blows that hurt Pac I remember his look back in the corner when Marquez landed devastating counters pacs face was priceless.

If you take a look at the fight, you can see Marquez either parrying off Pacquiao's shots and or riding with the momentum of the shots and taking the sting off of them

Marquez always finds a way to make Pacqiuao reach and be forced into an uncompromising position, boom Marquez shoots the straight right, smack there goes Pacquiao's head snapping back violently.

For those of you that are clueless, its called effective connects!

honestly it was Pac's hair that gave that exaggerated impression of his head being struck back more

I found it funny that Marquez was lighting Pac up with head snapping punches and the commentators didnt utter a word of it, yet when Pac missed a punch pretending he was superman with his so called amazing footwork, Lederman nearly choked on the mic with amazement. Those biased pricks.

that's strange, based on the opinions here when the head snaps back it called an effective connect. if it doesn't the its not effective..am confused..
