Round 7
Dolton is jogging left and jabbing as Gutierrez presses in behind crossed arms looking to tie up. Dolton shakes him loose with some bobs and turns, and continues to jab at him from outside. Gutierrez gets close and snares an arm, and they trade uppercuts to the body. Dolton continues to prove too fleet of hand and foot for Gutierrez, although some of the exchanges are getting less one-sided. 10-9 Dolton 70-63 Dolton |

"If you're in Gutierrez's position, what do you feel like you need to do?"
- fellow commentator to Shannon Briggs, who's got plenty of experience being on the bad end of a shutout. |

I prefer Steven Hawking blabbering about science the Atlas. He is the worst ever..... wait Larry Holmes made him look good the other week.
I hate Flores. Judah was very good which shocked me. As long as he can learn how to say Lundy instead of laundry he'll be perfect. Also Kevin Kelley needs a job asap. The guy is an amazing analyst. |

Round 9
Gutierrez is shuffling in, somewhat hesitant, angling his body so that his left shoulder will take the brunt of what Dolton's serving up. Dolton reaches with the jab and cross and still manages to find Gutierrez's jaw. Gutierrez is plodding sideways into Dolton, leaning against him and trying to pin his arms down. Dolton flurries and backs up. Left hook, right hand combo by Dolton - his hand speed decreasing and his work getting a little sloppier but still doing more effective work than Gutierrez and at least grazing with every few shots. Gutierrez gets him in a chokehold with his left arm and clubs up top with his right while shoving him against the ropes. 10-9 Dolton 90-81 Dolton |

Dalton doesn't strike me as being particularly outstanding in any one area, but he's quite good in all of them. Gutierrez seems to have embraced the role of gatekeeper wholeheartedly, but is having enough moments to earn another payday down the road...and another...and another...

Id love to see Guzman vs Mattyese. in a recent fight I thought Guzman was looking slow and bloated but if he's still 60% as sharp as he use to be he could give Mattyese hell and it would be a great style clash. Rios/ Guzman as well. Wouldn't mind Peterson vs Guzman. |

Round 10
Gutierrez is coming to Dolton, persistent but uninspired. Dolton isn't looking particularly concerned about blowing his presumptive lead on points by getting stopped, and Gutierrez doesn't have the look of a hungry and upset-minded individual. Gutierrez is keeping his guard up and shredding an odd uppercut once leaned in close against Dolton, but is mostly just absorbing body shots as the still-fresh Dolton hops and swoons around him. Dolton sits down on some left and right hooks to the sides as Gutierrez fishes for his arms and tries to yank them up. Dolton brushes Gutierrez's head with some quick flurries and then gets in a couple more body shots before the bell, all while avoiding getting grabbed. 10-9 Dolton 100-90 Dolton |
