As my post count goes down and I'm trying to commit to less time straining my eyes here (failing half the time, as I keep refreshing the pages, obsessively when I'm not concentrating on restraint), I've adopted a special IBRBR reading technique, for fights that I want to know what happened, but not that badly. It's a special kind of skimming in which I pretty much just read how he scored the round and whatever he capitalised. Unfortunately, if it's a boring fight and there's nothing exciting to capitalise, like "MACGRUBER LANDS AN ENORMOUS LEFT HOOK AND CORNGOOD IS DOWN!" I end up having absolutely no idea what happened, despite my attempt to catch up, save my eyes randomly picking up obscure references and highfaluting words my brain alerts me to being out of place, here.

Allakhverdiev Tech SD8 - 76-75/75-76/76-75 - Guzman down in the 3rd by a left, and Allakh took really took the fight to him... The fight got stopped in the 8th on a injury and went to the cards while most of the reports say it should have been a TKO. At least the right man won, be it barely.

I like Trout in what I consider a slight upset. Trout is better than people think. Cotto is a lot more shot than people think. Don't let the Mayweather fight, in which Floyd fought Cotto instead of picking him apart like we all expected to fool you. No disrespect to Cotto, but his time is about over.

There are 2 sides of Austin Trout: Austin Trout the fan and Austin Trout the fighter. I love to watch him fight but in the back of my mind I think that I can beat him. When I’m daydreaming about beating up somebody in front of a large crowd its one of those guys that I’m a fan of and he happens to be one of them.

My past experiences have not been on this level but practice makes perfect. The crowd can only do one thing and that’s make noise. It doesn’t help him punch harder or move faster.

In this fight Cotto is fighting a guy who is a natural light middle, and with many thinking Cotto is slightly past his best, the mix could make for an interesting fight. However, while undefeated, Trout is rather inexperienced on this level of the sport, and many question whether his skills are good enough to make the size difference in this fight matter. Will Cottos skill and experience shine through, or will Trout show its his time by taking the win in the biggest fight of his career.
