He's being matched like this for a reason, it's going to be a typical build him up to a payday job.
The fact that Skelton was able to stumble his way inside tells you all you need to know about price. I'd even pick Arreola to stop price, let alone guys like Pulev and the klitschko brothers |

Audley: high profile, southpaw, British defence.
Skelton: keep busy, pressure fighter, British defence. He wants a Lonsdale outright. He wants to fight different styles. He wants to keep busy. |

Price needs time to grow, he's not ready for a Klitschko yet, no way...............
Fury is taking on a difficult fighter in Johnson. If Johnson tries to fight he can be trouble, but if he goes into his shell like he did against Vitali he will lose for sure. I think Fury will win, but...................... |

Thompson would be a great opponent for Price at this stage. This is just sound matchmaking, I like what they're doing with Price.
This is starting to feel like they built up Helenius with good opponents, let's hope it turns out better. |

For a start Price is 29 & had very little wear & tear. Big, modern HWs often dont peak until their early-mid thirties. Pulev is 31 & is in the position Price wants to be in 18 months time. A loss will not be the end of Price, stop being so dramatic. |

The key is to keep him active. Let him fight every two to three months or so. He's still a novice really; the worst possible thing to do right now is overmatch him.
I think next year his management team will become a bit more ambitious and try and secure a few opponents that will bring him not only much-needed work, but also greater international exposure. To me, his braintrust are doing the right thing. Let him clean up domestically before looking abroad. |

Yeah sure, MAYBE he could do it, but it's hardly likely. |
